2008 Girls Golf State Champs

Led by Head Coach Judy Young, the 2008 Poland Seminary High School girls golf team completed one of the most memorable seasons in school history. The Lady Bulldogs finished 14-2, captured the sectional championship, and placed third at the district tournament to qualify for first-ever OHSAA Division II Girls Golf State Championship.

At The Ohio State University Golf Club's Gray Course, Poland recorded rounds of 346 and 333 for a 36-hole total of 679. The Lady Bulldogs finished one stroke ahead of Tipp City to secure the state championship.

The victory marked the first state championship won by a Poland girls team and forever established the 2008 Lady Bulldogs among the greatest teams in school history.
