Andrew Colella (2000)

Andrew was a three-year starter in football and Captain of the 1999 (15-0) State Champion Football team. Anchoring Poland’s secondary, as a Senior Andy was selected as First-team All MAC. Andy also competed in track where he was a two-year letter winner and a member of the State Champion 4x100 relay team and 4x200 relay team that broke the school record. Mr.Colella is just one of three individuals in the school’s history to be a member of two different State Championship teams. Upon graduation Andy accepted a scholarship to play football at Mercyhurst College.
