Albert C. Colella
Albert C. Colella dedicated 27 years to the Poland Local School District, retiring in June 2007. During his career, he taught instrumental music at both the high school and middle school levels. Prior to joining Poland Schools, he spent four years teaching instrumental music in the Warren City Schools in Warren, Ohio.
Before beginning his teaching career, Mr. Colella served as a clarinetist with the United States Naval Academy Band in Annapolis, Maryland, from 1971 to 1975.
As an accomplished musician, he has continued performing with the Saint Margherita Blue Coat Band of New Castle, Pennsylvania, and the W.D. Packard Concert Band of Warren, Ohio.
In 2003, Mr. Colella received the Poland Schools Foundation Educational Excellence Educator of the Year Award, recognizing his outstanding contributions to education and the Poland school community.
