Allison Graf '99

Allison Graf, Class of 1999, was a three-sport standout at Poland High School, excelling in basketball, softball, and volleyball.

In basketball (1995–1999), Allison was named MAC Player of the Year in 1999, earned First Team All-Northeastern Ohio (1998–99), Second Team All-Ohio (1999), and was selected to the OSHS First Team. She helped lead the 1998 team to the state tournament and finished her four-year career with a 71–21 record. She also set school records with 160 three-pointers made, 285 steals, and a 37% career three-point shooting percentage.

In softball (1996–1999), Allison helped lead Poland to an 86–20 record during her career. She earned All-MAC honors as a sophomore, junior, and senior, finished with a .353 career batting average, and posted an outstanding .973 fielding percentage.

In volleyball (1995–1998), Allison played a key role in the team's success and was selected All-MAC as a senior.

After graduating from Poland, Allison attended Mount Union, earning a 3.66 GPA in Sports Management, followed by a master's degree from Youngstown State University. She continued her outstanding basketball career at Mount Union from 1999–2003, earning four varsity letters and setting both Ohio Athletic Conference and Mount Union records for three-point field goals made in a game and a season. She also earned two varsity letters in softball.

Following her playing career, Allison began coaching, serving as an assistant basketball coach at Virginia Wesleyan College (2003–2005), Poland's seventh-grade boys basketball coach (2005–2006), and assistant girls varsity basketball coach at Poland (2006–2008).
