Chad Fender '05

Chad was a 4 year letter winner in basketball for the Bulldogs. He played guard and graduated as Poland’s all-time leading scorer with 1,525 points. Chad was 2003 Honorable Mention All-State and in 2004 and 2005 was 1st Team All-State. He was selected to the 1st Team All NEO as a sophomore. He was 2nd team MAC as a Freshman and 1st team All MAC from his sophomore through Senior years. He was also the MAC Player of the Year his Junior and Senior years.

Chad holds many of the school basketball records including: Most career points (1,525), most consecutive free throws (23), most points as a sophomore (436), and most points as a freshman (260). He was a McDonald’s All American selection in 2005. Chad went on to attend YSU upon graduation.
