Duncan Ingraham '62

Duncan Ingraham, Class of 1962, was an outstanding three-sport athlete at Poland High School, lettering in football, basketball, and track & field. In football, he was a three-year letterman who helped lead Poland to a 17–0–1 record and back-to-back Tri-County League championships during his junior and senior seasons. He earned Second Team All-League honors as a junior and First Team All-League recognition as a senior. Ingraham graduated as Poland's third all-time leading scorer with 150 career points and still held the school record for 1,698 career rushing yards. His outstanding play earned him selection to the Ohio North-South All-Star Game, and he continued his football career at the United States Naval Academy.

In basketball, Ingraham was a one-year letterman. In track & field, he was a three-year letterman who qualified for the State Meet as a senior in the pole vault. He won County Championships in the pole vault as both a junior and senior, captured the County Championship in the low hurdles as a senior, and was the District Champion in the pole vault during his senior season.
