Dru Kosco (1983)

Dru Kosco was an exceptional three-sport athlete at Poland High School, excelling in baseball, football, and basketball.

In baseball, Dru set 14 school records during his career. He finished with a .412 career batting average, 13 home runs, 70 RBIs, 19 stolen bases, and 67 runs scored. As a junior, he batted .500, and as a senior he hit 9 home runs with 35 RBIs. He was a three-year letterman and helped lead Poland to the Mahoning Valley Conference Championship and the Ohio Class AA State Semifinals during his senior season.

In football, Dru established a school record by returning three punts for touchdowns. He earned First Team All-Mahoning Valley Conference honors as a senior. He also recorded three games with three touchdowns and rushed for a career-high 190 yards in a single game.

In basketball, Dru was a two-year letterman and received Honorable Mention All-Mahoning Valley Conference recognition as a senior, completing an outstanding athletic career as one of Poland High School's top all-around competitors.
