Jennifer Corvino '96

Jennifer Corvino, Class of 1996, was a four-year letter winner and starting goalkeeper for the Poland Lady Bulldogs Soccer Team. Over her career, she set a school record with 33 shutouts. During her four seasons, the Bulldogs compiled outstanding records of 16-5-2 (1995), 20-2-3 (1994), 13-4-6 (1993), and 16-3-3 (1992). Jennifer served as a team co-captain and earned numerous postseason honors, including selection to the Greater Akron Division II Team as a freshman, First Team All-Akron as a sophomore, Second Team All-MAC and Second Team Youngstown District as a junior, and First Team All-MAC and First Team All-Youngstown District as a senior. In 1994, she helped lead Poland to the Mahoning Athletic Conference championship, and the team earned the No. 1 seed in the Youngstown District Tournament.

After graduating from Poland, Jennifer was a member of the inaugural women’s soccer teams at both Youngstown State University and Bowling Green State University before choosing to focus on her academic pursuits.

Jennifer currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina, with her husband, Jude, and their son, Carter.
