Jason McQuown '14

Jason was a four-year letter winner on the Boys’ Varsity Golf team. He led the Bulldogs to an impressive 31-1 record during his Junior (16-0) and Senior (15-1) campaigns. Jason also helped the team win two consecutive AAC conference titles. Jason earned both All-Conference honors and All-District honors for three straight seasons. He tied the school’s low round per nine holes with a four under 32 and holds the school record for the lowest season scoring average of 36.5 strokes per nine holes. Jason also won the 2013 Hoover Boys Golf Invitational, shooting a low round of even par 70.

Jason went on to earn an athletic scholarship to play Division I Golf at Youngstown State University from 2015-2019 earning four letters there. He played in 110 career competitive rounds at YSU (14th all-time) and finished his career with an average of 77.3 strokes per round (tied for 22nd all-time). He competed in four Horizon League conference championships and helped lead the Penguins to a third place finish his Senior year. Jason was a part of two school victories and graduated with honors earning both Accounting and Financial Management degrees from YSU.
