Jim Timko (1986)

Jim Timko was a two sport athlete in baseball and basketball. In baseball, Timko was a three year starter and earned three varsity letters. His senior season he was 9-1 with a 1.20 ERA. He also led the team in batting with a .378 batting average and was named 1st Team All State. During his years on the Bulldog Baseball Team, the Dogs won three straight MVC titles and earned a trip to the regional finals in 1986. He was 1st Team All MVC his junior and senior seasons.

In basketball, Timko was a two year letter winner and started at point guard. He was All-MVC his senior year.

Timko went on to play baseball at Youngstown State University where he pitched and earned three varsity letters.
