Kristy Gaudiose (2003)

Kristy Gaudiose was a two-sport athlete for Poland Seminary High School in basketball and softball.

In basketball, Kristy was a four-year letter winner and graduated with four records in basketball. She is Poland’s all time leading scorer. She earned 1st Team All MAC Honors as a sophomore, junior and senior. Other honors obtained during her career were: 1st Team All-Ohio, All Northeast Inland, All Northeast Inland Player Of The Year, The Vindicator All Area Team, and was selected to the Ohio North-South and Mahoning County All Star Teams. She was the MVP of the Midland Tournament.

In softball, Kristy lettered her freshman and junior years and was All MAC twice. She missed her sophomore year due to injury and her senior year she chose to focus on earning a basketball scholarship.

Upon graduation, Kristy attended Youngstown State University on a full basketball scholarship. Kristy currently ranks 10th in Youngstown State history for most consecutive free throws (17) and for most three pointers in a career. She also shares the record for most three pointers in a game (7).
