Ken Lenga

Ken Lenga was an outstanding two-sport athlete at Poland High School, excelling in football and baseball and earning numerous honors in both sports.

In football (1989–1992), Ken was a four-year letterman and starter. He earned First Team All-Tri County and All-Mahoning Valley Conference (MVAC) honors from 1990–1992. He finished his career as Poland's all-time leader in pass receptions. During his senior year, he was recognized in Pegasus Who's Who in High School Sports, was selected to play in the 1993 North-South All-Star Game, and earned First Team All-Northeastern Ohio honors.

In baseball (1990–1993), Ken played outfield and was named All-MVAC in 1992 and 1993. He won the Class B Batting Championship in 1992, earned First Team All-Ohio honors in 1993, and was selected as a First Team player for the North All-Stars at the 1993 U.S. Olympic Festival.

Ken went on to attend Stanford University to play baseball, but a serious shoulder injury ended his playing career. According to the plaque, he later lived in San Francisco and worked as a computer programmer.
