Mark Naples '76

Mark Naples, Class of 1976, was a standout football player for the Poland Bulldogs under legendary coach Dave Pavlansky from 1974–1976. A three-year letter winner, Mark capped his high school career by earning First Team All-Mahoning Valley Conference honors as a senior.

At the time of his graduation, Mark held the school record for rushing yards in a single game with 196 yards. During his junior and senior seasons, the Bulldogs compiled an outstanding 18–2 record, highlighted by winning the Mahoning Valley Conference Championship in 1976.

Following his athletic career, Mark built a distinguished professional career with FirstEnergy Corporation, where he has served as a Crew Leader for more than 40 years. He resides in Poland, Ohio, with his wife, Kathy, and daughter, Ciera. In addition to his professional career, Mark proudly served the community as a Poland Township Trustee for 16 years.
