Maggie Slosser '00

Maggie Slosser, Class of 2000, was one of the most dominant female athletes in Poland High School history, excelling in both basketball and track & field. A four-year basketball letter winner, Maggie became Poland's all-time leading scorer and rebounder, leading the Bulldogs to three consecutive MAC Championships and two appearances in the Ohio State Final Four.

She earned All-MAC honors three consecutive years and, in 1999, was recognized as both All-NEO and All-State for her outstanding basketball performance.

In track & field, Maggie was equally accomplished, earning First Team All-MAC honors and setting the school record in the high jump. She was also named the League Meet MVP as a sophomore, highlighting her excellence in multiple events.

After graduating from Poland High School, Maggie accepted a four-year basketball scholarship to Clemson University. Although injuries affected parts of her collegiate career, she still averaged nearly 8 points and 6 rebounds per game.

Maggie's record-setting achievements, championship success, and excellence in both basketball and track & field earned her induction into the Poland Hall of Fame.
