Rocco Dobran (1996)

Rocco played football and baseball all four years of High School. In football, he was All Conference as a Junior and Senior. Additionally, his Senior year he was also selected All Conference Player of the Year, Team MVP, 1st Team All NEO, 1st Team All Quad County, 1st Team All Mahoning Valley Playbook and 2nd Team All State. During that time, Rocco also made Channel 21 Inside High School Football Play of the Week and was chosen as the WYTV Student Athlete of the Week. His career highlights include scoring 4 touchdowns and rushing for 230 yards in a single game- both Poland records at the time. He rushed for over 1000 yards his Junior year and 1800 yards his Senior year and totaled 2856 for his career- also school records at that time. Additionally, he had three 200 plus yard games in his career. Rocco's Senior year he was a part of the 1995 football team that was the first team in school history to win 11 games and make it to the final four in the Division 3 State Play-Offs. In baseball, Rocco lettered his Junior and Senior years. He went on to Muskingum, earned four letters in football and was chosen Academic All-OAC.
