Coach Reid Lamport

Coach Reid Lamport was the Poland Lady Bulldogs Head Softball Coach for 23 years (1990-2012). During his time he led the Lady Bulldogs to 20 Conference Championships, 15 District Titles, 4 Regional Titles, 2 State Runner-ups and 1 State Title.

Additionally, Lamport holds the record for most victories in school history (586), which also ranks third all time in the State of Ohio. His winning percentage during his 23 years was an amazing .823.

For his achievements Coach Lamport has been elected and is a member of the OHSFSCA Hall of Fame and the Trumbull County Sports Hall of Fame.

In addition to coaching Softball, Reid was also Poland’s Head Football Coach for 7 years guiding the Bulldogs to historic first ever wins over Struthers in 1987 and JFK in 1991.
