Sandra Dobran (Howard)

Sandra Dobran (Howard) was an exceptional three-sport athlete at Poland High School, excelling in soccer, basketball, and softball.

In soccer, Sandra was a four-year starter and served as team captain. She earned Inter-County Team honors all four years and was selected to the Scholastic All-State Team during her senior season.

In basketball, she was a three-year starter and served as team captain in her senior year. Sandra was named All Mahoning County during each of her final three seasons, establishing herself as one of the area's top players.

In softball, Sandra was a four-year starter and team captain as a senior. She earned MVC All-Conference First Team honors during each of her final three years and was selected to the All-State First Team in her senior season. During her career, Poland captured four consecutive league championships, and Sandra led the team with an outstanding .528 batting average.

Following high school, Sandra continued her softball career at Robert Morris College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Sport Management. She later completed a Master's Degree in Sports Administration from Kent State University. She went on to serve as the Director of Recreation, Intramural, and Club Sports at John Carroll University, continuing her lifelong commitment to athletics and sports leadership.
