Tiffany Shanks-Moore '91

Tiffany was a very versatile athlete for the Bulldogs, excelling in Softball, Soccer, and Track while also marching with the Band and Flag Line.

In Softball, Tiffany was a four-year letter winner at centerfield and a four-time MVC First Team All-Conference selection. She was selected to the Second Team All-State and the All-Northeast Ohio Team during her junior and senior years. She was also invited to play in the Ohio High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association Summer Tournament during her junior and senior seasons. As a senior, she batted .458 with 5 home runs and 19 stolen bases.

In Soccer, Tiffany was a four-year letter winner and earned First Team MVC honors from her sophomore through senior seasons. She was also selected to the First Team All-Greater Akron and Gold All-Star Teams for three consecutive years. During her senior season, she was chosen as one of the Youngstown Vindicator's Area High School Stars of the Week.

Tiffany was selected to the TEAM USA 1990 European Select Youth Soccer Tour (U18) and toured Europe for a month, competing in Gothia, Denmark, and Holland Cups. She finished her senior soccer season with 23 goals and 3 assists.

In Track & Field, Tiffany lettered during her junior year, competing in the 100-meter dash, long jump, and anchoring the 4×100 relay. She earned First Team All-Conference, qualified for the All-County Meet in the 100-meter dash, and was an OHSAA District Qualifier in the 100-meter dash (13.2 seconds).

Tiffany also participated in the Marching Band (Trombone) and Flag Line, where she was a four-year letter winner.

After graduation, Tiffany attended Shawnee State University on an athletic scholarship to play Softball and Soccer. She also served as a cheerleader and mascot. During her collegiate career, she earned numerous honors, including NAIA Softball All-American and Scholar Athlete recognition. She still holds the NAIA National Tournament individual record for most doubles. Playing centerfield, she helped her team win two National Championship team rings.

Tiffany later earned her Master of Education in Classroom Teaching from the University of Rio Grande.
